On November 6th 2010, the Conchman triathlon will be graced with the appearance of Para-triathlete, Hector Picard.Picard suffered an accident while on the job as an electrician where he received 13,000 volts through his body that resulted in the complete amputation of his right arm and half his left. As well as 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 40% of his body.He has competed in over 30 triathlon events through out the state of Florida and Freeport, Bahamas. Picard will be competing in the 1K swim, 25K bike, 5K run, which is the route for the 23 rd annually Conchman triathlon. This is such an amazing site , it truly humbles an individual !
