An onlooker weeps ,and others stand around to commemorate the lives of the victims of the 1941 Nazi massacre in Babi Yar, in the suburbs of Kiev. At least 33,000 people were killed in 48 hours. In the following months the number topped 100,000.It's not a norm to a see a man expressing himself by crying in our culture , but this man broke down in tears , remembering the life of someone he knew who suffered in that time .This massacre is known by many worldwide , and the grueling pictures one may find illustrate the hardships these persons went through.
